Purpose of processing personal data
The purpose of processing personal data is the management and maintenance of the customer relationship between Ekolet Ltd. and the customer, customer contact and marketing. The data in the register may be used for Ekolet’s own direct marketing, unless the customer has prohibited direct marketing.

Contact and customer information can also be collected through various marketing campaigns. A marketing ban is recorded on the basis of a separate declaration by the customer.

Data retention
Data will be kept for as long as necessary for each purpose of customer service.

Regular disclosures
Information is disclosed or shared with third parties only in response to a legal obligation to disclose, such as a customer’s own request or a legal request from a public authority.

Transfer of data outside the EU or the European Economic Area
No data will be transferred or disclosed outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

Principles of register protection
The controller’s information system and files are protected by technical protection methods normally used in business. Access to the register requires a personal username and password, which are only granted to a member of the controller’s staff or to a service provider acting on the controller’s behalf, whose role and tasks involve such access and processing of personal data. Employees who process customer file data are bound by the obligation of confidentiality.

The data subject’s right to inspect
The data subject has the right to inspect and obtain copies of the personal data stored in the register. The request for inspection should be made by email or by visiting our office, Estetie 3, 00430 Helsinki.

Correction of data
The controller shall, on its own initiative or at the request of the data subject, correct, erase or complete personal data contained in the register which are inaccurate, unnecessary, incomplete or out of date for the purposes of processing. The data subject must contact the controller to have the information corrected.
