Genuinely compostable and guaranteed odourless<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the unique air circulation and liquid treatment system, Ekolet composting dry toilets are completely odourless and no additives are required during use. The outdoor models also operate completely without electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the four-compartment models, the soil can be emptied directly to the plants, without the need for separate post-composting. Unlike many competitors, Ekolet’s four-compartment dry toilets compost the waste 100% in the unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much of the liquids evaporate with the air circulation. The nutrient-rich leachate that does not evaporate is biologically purified and can be safely drained into the soil in the four-compartment models, for example into an underground rock pit around which the plant roots can obtain nutrients. There is therefore no need to collect liquids in canisters for post-treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simple to install and easy to maintain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ekolet dry toilets are designed for easy installation. In addition to clear written instructions, installation videos are also available showing the toilet being installed from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No special tools are needed for maintenance, just an ordinary shovel will do. Emptying is usually necessary once a year or less, and even then the emptying is easy, so your holiday won’t be spoiled by constant toilet maintenance or worrying about emptying.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
